International Men’s Day | 2023
Inaugurated by Thomas Oaster in 1992, November 19th is officially International Men’s Day, a day which is informally viewed as the male counterpart to Women's Day (March 8). IMD is a celebration of males in our society as well as the achievements and contributions they have provided. It is also a day to raise global awareness for men’s issues and the struggles they face. Today is the day to formally celebrate men's strengths, acknowledge their vulnerabilities and support the males in our lives. Unlike Woman’s Day, International Men's Day is not officially recognized by the U.N. as a national holiday. So I wanted to celebrate what I believe to be some of the strongest men in our society, the ones who aren’t afraid to try and walk in a woman’s shoes. Check out my video below!
